Here's hoping the wounded officers a full and speedy recovery.

Thank you. I wasn't carrying today, but with all the people running, I wouldn't have drawn my gun anyway. There would have been a possibility of hitting an innocent. The shooter was threatening to blow the place up, so I understand. The officers were there to escort him out. That's when the shooting started. There may have been three innocent people also shot. I was one isle over from the shooting.

I carry from the time I wake up till I go to bed. But your right I would have in no way pulled my gun it that situation. I hate but I would have just exited as fast as possible.

At one time we had a guy who taught the ccw class and he told his students it was there responsibility to protect the public? I pray he is no longer able to teach the class's.

This was one of the few times I didn't carry. My next stop was to the dentist, and didn't want to leave my gun in the car.

That is way too close, hoping the officers recover quickly.

    Glad you are ok!
Will keep the officers and other victims in my prayers.

Did a quick Google search, but didn't find anything on this yet. Please keep us posted.

With my change in employment I am often without a firearm. It has been an adjustment from the last 25+ years of carrying most of the time.
