Now, while I'm waiting, I'll be getting reloading dies and supplies and maybe a few factory boxes of ammo too.

I still have about 2 pounds of the 4 pound jug of W-231. And about a pound left of Titegroup. From what I've read these should do OK for my uses.

I don't target shoot for extreme accuracy, I just like to try and bounce toys around while they are still moving. Paper doesn't move much.

I like the forward serrations. I have them on my XSE and really like the additional purchase they provide. I also like stainless!

I like 231/HP-38 for shooting 230-grain LRNs out of my G30. I believe 5.1 grains was my last loading, haven't shot them for a while. Mild recoil.

Congratulations! Lots of recipes out there for .45 using 231 and Titegroup, I'll be happy to provide some if you'd like.

Very, very nice. Should be a really sweet shooter too. Might lead to "another" 1911 in the future?

@Sister , I hate to disappoint but all my range report will likely disclose is whether it works the way it should. I will probably not want to slog through the mud on my backyard range to put up a target. Until the frost is gone anyway.

Pretty sure I want to change things on it already...
