If you were to sell a firearm...

I know selling firearms is disdained by most on DC. However, I do sell stuff from time to time. Just for the sake of conversation, if you had to sell a firearm in your safe or possession, what would it be? Why?

I have a number of rifles in 22LR. If I were to sell something at the moment, it would this Marlin 60.

As you say, I dislike selling any of them, although I have sold a few. If I was going to shed anything, it would probably be my Colt Commander.

No way I would sell my Model 60. Just too accurate and the value/effort ratio is too low for my lazy self to bother.

I've sole a few handguns here. A lot I have sold to people I know FTF and a few collectibles on GB, which worked out nicely even though I went through my main FFL guy. Worked out well for him, too, lol.

Finally got a collection I'd like to keep intact and add to. If I had to, I would sell my S&W 5906. Only because it once had a rail system screwed to the top of the slide, thus it's been bastardized, imho. I'd love to find a 9mm TSW to go with my .40 and .45 TSW's and would happily trade it in toward one.

Only ones I would sell are my striker fired guns. I got 2 Ruger LC9S , a S&W PC Shield 9mm, and a Shield 45 I would sell any day. Ain't never gonna sell any of my hammer fired guns though. They will be passed down to children/grandchildren when I'm gone.

I have a H&K USP Tactical, chambered in .45 acp that I would sell, but given what I paid for it new, it would be too much of a loss to sell it used.

The upside is, it's a very well made firearm and I can shoot it well.

I've never regretted selling any of the guns I've sold. If I still wanted/needed them, I'd still own them!

I asked my wife to put my guns in my coffin when I die. She said no. I told her, in that case I'm not going.
Dudes, I"ll buy some more, but don't know what just yet.

I sold an Honor Defense Honor Guard and a SIG P290RS. I couldn't get used to the triggers on either (I had to start wearing gloves when shooting the Honor Guard) and the SIG was also just too danged heavy to carry comfortably. I'm toying with selling my original P938. It had to take a trip to the mothership and I grew to distrust it. Then I got my P365 and *poof* -- new EDC!

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.
