Now I did step out today to pick up a stack of whisky and whiskey.
    Balvenie 15 yr
    Macallen 12yr
    Jefferson’s Reserve Ocean
    TX whiskey cask strength
    Balicones 100 proof
That should get me through the next two weeks
Have not tried any of those. I wonder if liquor stores would be tagged as essential businesses if they do a mandatory shut down.

I'm still shooting ammo from the last shortage and will be shooting for long time.

I do feel sorry for the young and new shooters, people who just picked up shooting this past year.

My son, for example, is a college student who just became old enough to get his first carry permit. Fortunately for him I'm willing to share.

Of course like many I saw this coming, although I expected it closer to the election not from a pandemic, and was pretty well stocked by the time Federal artificially bumped HST prices above 50 cents a round.

    Last shortage?
I've got ammo older than me in storage. I'm not too worried about an ammo shortage in my lifetime.

I will not be in trouble until I am forced to use tequila as hand sanitizer.

That'd be shameful waste of good tequila.

I learned from Dollar Bill Clinton years to have my guns and ammo well stocked.

I don't care how freaked out they get. I have mine already. Well tested and sighted in with ammo at hand.

I am not surprised about the run on ammo but I will say I'm mildly surprised that all the online retailers are out of stock on just about all their smokeless powders.

I'm pretty new to reloading but by reading what others have posted here you'd think all the long time reloaders had sufficient supplies already stockpiled so who bought it all up? I'm sure these newbies we're discussing aren't buying reloading supplies.

I noticed that as well and it did not take long at all. I did not need any but was curious to see if places had any powder. I see my LGS is out of CF223 but did have other powders left.

Hornady put out an official video saying that they have not increased any prices as a result COVID. So this should be interesting for the price gougers.

Things have slowed down at bit at KTP. ANY type /Gauge (except for 16 ga ) slug/ buckshot, is GONE!.....9MM to 45 ACP is GONE! (some 10mm, 44mag, 45 Colt at still there along with 32ACP) We get small shipments from our suppliers but the "Seagulls" as I call them, are right at the doors for the store when it opens at 930am... (new hours for now are 930am -630pm) We've limited calls coming in, because the calls are all about ammo supply and how to place a HOLD on it for them. (NOT gonna happen, as this caused a HUGE issue in the Past)
Just about ANY rifle caliber is hot right now.... 30-30? almost non existent right now (amazing) 223 556 308 6.5 30-06 7.62x39 etc etc....almost bare PLUS. 17cal to 45-70 are running hot right now too.
Just ...TOTALLY Amazing times we are in!

BTW.....We have NOT INCREASED any prices at this time.... unless the suppliers do it, we will attempt to continue current prices..
