Wasn't thinking about the date, just trying to help a brother out.

I fell hook line and sinker. DUH!

I miss the Singer I had custody of. It is with it's rightful owner now that he is retired from the Air Force.
It wasn't anything special to look at and had mismatched serial numbers. Would have loved to hear the stories it could have told. His Grandfather was in the South Pacific as an airplane mechanic. He's not sure if it came back with his Grandfather or it was purchased after he got back home.
Would be interesting to know how it ended up with the mismatched serial numbers.

    Tee hee hee ...

Now I feel remorse though for outing you for it was fun.

When I read your post, I thought to myself: "Now Jim may have been born at night but he wasn't born last night."

A noob with such a post could have hoodwinked me.

Was feeling a bit glum this morning on the toilet paper run. This was just after the merest cursory look at internet news sources. April Fool's was on my mind as I got out of bed this morning, but I was stumped for what to do to Mrs. BMc in honor of today's "festivities."

We still are running on TP she stocked before the shortage began, but want to stay ahead of the curve. Anyway, while at the grocery store shopping for the list of items she gave me I spied some colorful plastic eggs with daisies on them, the kind that split in two for placing goodies or prizes inside. While she was working away at her desk (working from home) this afternoon I went out and placed a half dozen of the festive plastic eggs in each of two nesting boxes. This evening when she goes out to gather eggs I can blame it on the hens for playing an April Fools joke on her.

Mrs. BMc gathered eggs a bit earlier than normal. She just came in with a skeptical look on her face. I just offered that perhaps she has really clever hens that would play such an April Fools joke on her.

    Dumb chickens!

They were delightedly sitting on them. They're still warm in the above photograph.

Is that a cereal pooper or a serial pooper?
