Funny how liberals tend to migrate to the big cities.
Guess they are not self reliant enough to live out in the country and fend for themselves.

So, many years ago I watched a documentary on a hypothetical California earthquake disaster scenarios. The worst scenarios being a major strike in either the LA or or SF metro areas. That was enough to let me know I didn't want to live in either of those places - ever.

Having seen what happens after a hurricane, and just for four or five days, I couldn't imagine trying to survive post earthquake for weeks or months.

I've enjoyed visiting San Diego and southern CA for brief periods.
San Diego was a nice place, back in the early 70's.

Good advice SG. If any of the firearms they try don't work out for them, perhaps a quality alarm system could be a deterrent and buy extra time for a police response.

I understand California very well. I lived there for 40 years, the last 13 years we lived at the beach. My wife worked for the state for 40 years. I still visit (under duress) a couple of times a year, both the southern part of the state and the northern part of the state.

You're right, the state is progressive, but not in a good way.

CALIFORNIA is in deep poo.................. the easiest thing for your BIA is to leave for a free state. Barring that he needs to stockpile guns, ammo and food for what is inevitability coming. Civil war is coming, and Komifornia is on the front lines.

We have a number of friends there who just can't seem to make the leap. I think it is inevitable that they will bankrupt the state, but that appears to be what socialists want, i.e., cause the state to fail so you can rebuild it as a socialist "utopia."

Claims about CA going broke have been circulating for decades. It just raises taxes, fees, and fines to cover its butt.

"Laws come and go quickly" implies CA laws get rescinded at a rate similar to new laws being added.

Out of curiosity what gun control related laws have been rescinded, or even relaxed, in CA? My impression is CA gun control laws keep getting more intrusive, not less.
