    These guys call a bull into a distance of 3 feet. Amazing footage. He gets even closer than shown in the still image for the video.

    Just the directional pinpointing of sound with those ears is amazing. At 3 ft I'm surprised he never got a whiff.

    In Rocky Mountain National Park the elk and moose get right up on the road within 5-10 feet of humans and they don't seem to mind in the least. It's crazy. We were on the west side of the park yesterday and saw close to 30 moose including several cows, calves, and a few younger bulls. I'm sure the larger bulls were around but they weren't so keen on feeding so close to us humans.

    After seeing his antlers I must say he was obviously horny. One luck elk I must say. He missed the party but lived.
