    We got hammered a few years back and are just bouncing back now...Farmers were finding dead deer in their cattle ponds.
    I guess they run high fevers and seek water to cool down in.

    I suppose. I have been told and shown pics of deer dead by creeks.

    I saw one hunting show, I forget which now, that did an episode where they highlighted the issues caused by EHD. They actually showed some footage of deer drowning themselves to try and cool off. Nasty disease.

    Yep...They get disoriented and stagger around and sometimes lose fear of humans.
