True, or the trip to the local gun shop.
I just use the same line she uses on me.

I must be the only guy that takes his wife to the GS when purchasing a new gun,

If it is ever your misfortune to be attacked, alertness will have given you a little warning, decisiveness will have given you a proper course to pursue, and if that course is to counterattack, carry it out with everything you've got! Be indignant. Be angry. Be aggressive.

No, I don't think so. My wife usually wants to go with me. Heck, she always goes to SHOT with me.

I don't like about hunting trip or gun costs. If she asks, I'll tell her, and let her know it was on sale if it was, etc. But, she never asks, so.....

I guess Iím lucky my wife never ask or questions what I spend on hunting, fishing or guns. I just feel I need a gun for every pair of shoes she has.

When she asks, I'll tell her how much I spent buying different things throughout the year, but never the grand total of everything put together. Not sure I want to know that number - I didn't even get a deer this last season.
Passed on 2 smaller bucks, but no takers
