Perhaps that is one of the reasons she is an 'ex' agent. Then again I don't look for intelligence in the government too much. The governor of Virginia today said that 93 million people in this country die each day due to gun violence. I guess this country will be people free by Sunday by his estimate.

    Per the most recent census:

    324,420,000 people / 93,000,000 / day = 3.488 days

I have met several Secret Service personnel over the years. Some were plain clothes agents and others were in the Uniformed Division. I can say they get plenty of training in weapons handling and would certainly know the difference between semi-auto and automatic fire. They also are by no means idiots. So for me she must be repeating the liberal anti-gun narrative or there is another possibility. That possibility is she is just some dimwit the "News" group got to say some words that support what they wanted said. Pay some people a certain amount of money and they will say just about anything even if they know it is wrong.

Let's not forget the secret service main purpose is not guarding podus, it's currency protection. Just because she was an agent, doesn't mean she carried a weapon. I bet she use to sit in a office checking serial numbers ( bean counter) and never even handled a weapon cept maybe a steak knife at dinner.

That may explain the ammo shortage.

What automatic gunfire? In addition gotta love the news idiots " graphic images ". Of what? A chain link fence? Oh yah guy ducking for cover, in fear for his life, said a bad word. If I'd been there, filming that video, the only audio they could have played would have been one continuous beeeeeeeeeep! With an occasional sound of me taking a breath! I want to know how he, the shooter, got so close without alerting security! I guess that's a question for the other topic. Sorry

Perhaps her description was purposely dumbed down for the masses. There are lots of folks who can't grasp the technicality of various firearms functionalities no matter how you try to describe it to them, even though it's really very simple to understand. But then there are also LEOs who
never fire their weapon except when they have to re qualify on the range so it's easy to see that unawareness of different mechanics can lend to poor knowledge of how they operate, even for someone who, one would think, should be aware of such things.

Yes...Listen to the video from the baseball field and then listen to the bounty hunters / felon (YouTube) in the car showroom. The showroom sounds like full auto fire. 20 shots in 6 seconds.
