California Launches Creepy "Cradle-To-Career" Data System To Track Everything About Children

(don't know is this belongs in "Homeland Security" or "Domestic Terrorism" - take your pick)

Just in case we haven’t provided you with enough creepy dystopian news lately, the nation’s leader in Creepy Dystopia, California, has a brand new program. The “Cradle to Career Data System” will study and document everything about a child born in the state.

But don’t worry, it’s for your children’s own good.

What the heck is the “Cradle to Career Data System”?

Beginning at birth and stalking the child until he or she joins the workforce, California wants to keep on eye on all sorts of demographics and variables. They’ll do this by collecting information from “partner entities.” They’ll use this information, according to the Pasadena Star, to “provide appropriate interventions and supports to address disparities in opportunities and improve outcomes for all students.”

Why don't they just go ahead and chip infants so they can track everything.

Then California can show the country how people should be run.

Of course illegal immigrants would be exempt because keeping track of illegals would be discriminatory.

I decided to research the matter a bit, and I found a respected educational website that has an article with a different slant. It addresses how the gathered data will help CA evaluate the efficacy of its educational system and spending over the long term. For those who might want to read the article it is here.

What boggles my mind is that basically the article justifies the data collection, and Edsource is a respected educational organization. This shows how intellectualism that is narrowly focused can go astray. The implication is that government data for state educational support evaluation is more important than the privacy of the individual. What is next? Mind control? Oh I forgot: they are already trying that with politics as a testing ground. The most dangerous people in the world are those who try to control others thinking and those who allow their thinking to be controlled. I am going for a walk.

I tried to link to the source article, in the Pasadena Star but that is a subscriber-only site, so I couldn't do it.

Beside that, we all know we all need the Masterminds running our lives, because they know better than we do.

Sounds like a good way to keep tabs on the parents as well.
Has anyone tried turning the country off and then back on again?

Well heck there goes another Multi-Billion Dollars that will be wasted 1) to justify spending More Billions on pie in the sky remedies the "data" will show need fixed (like how single parent households start a child at a disadvantage duh ) 2) give pedophiles easier access to their preferred targets (all the data's in one place now).

    Government think at its finest.

What gets me is how collecting and archiving data can get so expensive?

Obviously, we have too much government intervention. And we have people that think socialism/communism is best.

If Trump proposed that at the federal level, they would be going crazy that it is fascism.

Among other things, I can see: If a kid has ADHD and is on meds, or the kid is just a discipline problem, an ERPO gets issued to take guns out of the house. Such a kid would be a prohibited person from gun ownership when he turns 21.
