He'd have been okay if he didn't have that mullet.

Rest assured, the flightline will be an exception, especially after the first turban gets eaten.

It would probably do more damage than a bird.

I would not really care about beards, except for one thing. If they can have beards, then there is absolutely no practical reason people need to be clean shaven. If there is, then that should outweight the beard. After all, safety first. As far as the turban, I guess the standard 8 point is not that important either. In fact, they should just make head gear optional.

Beards are not a problem unless you are aircrew; a beard will prevent proper seal of an O2 mask guaranteeing hypoxia if you lose pressurization.

Of course you can't wear a cross, that might offend someone.
I wonder what they would say about a hammer?

Fellow I worked with insisted on wearing a gold chain and cross around his neck that was always falling out of his shirt. Being as we worked aircraft electronics, I warned him repeatedly it would get him someday. It did, slipped out and dangled into a hot 115V bus. They had to dig the remaining parts of the melted chain out of his neck.

His "Come to Jesus" moment was not the one he expected. Never saw him wearing another necklace.

No doubt. Of course a small lapel pin wouldn't present the same problem.
My godfather was AF, and he wouldn't even wear his wedding ring on missions to preclude it getting caught on something if he had to egress the plane in a hurry.

Gonna have to be a FLAME Retardant Turban .... Per AF Specs .... I don't see it going far......I'm betting this guy (and others like him) will be placed in some sort of low-risk duty..... Certainly NOT on the Flight line anywhere soon.

The airmen that wear diapers on their head are the ones you assign to the front of the inlet. Fod, but the good kind.

Just mentally speculating about a loose turban getting wrapped in a spinning prop... thinking it might launch the wearer like a trebuchet!

What the Hell is the world coming to? Why is our government bending to the wishes of immigrants who desire to make this country just like the one they left behind? This is America, don't try and make it a middle east country.
