    Airforce changing dress code.

    Will now allow turbans, hijabs, and beards.

    Seriously though, can’t a turban be dangerous? What if you’re standing in front of a jet engine and it gets sucked up into the turbine? They may sound the same but turbans and turbines don’t mix.

    Some guy‘s going to get his turban too close to a jet engine, have it sucked in, and his family’s going to sue the government.

    A turban or hijab would be a FOD hazard on the flightline! Definitely not my Air Force... of course I was in the Army Aviation version of the USAF in the helicopter world!

    By the time an engine sucks a turban in, all that will be left are boots.

    You don’t even need a turban, don’t get anywhere near an intake.
