    I do not face such a dilemma. I have never had more tha two guns at once. One was my new EDC and the other my old EDC just waiting to be sold. I like to simplify life.

    Personally, I prefer and use a full-sized M&P holster when carrying a compact. It fits perfectly, and cuts down on the need for an additional holster.

    Yes, I find longer slides and longer barreled revolvers more comfortable to carry. I never carry my subcompacts these days unless they are my pocket.

    For years I used to conceal government model 1911's no problem. I also sometimes carry a 4.2" GP100 (mainly if I'm any place where I might need to take a precision long shot) and find that for me 4"...
