Phaedrus liked post by TactiCarl On thread : Great door reinforcement device!
Most security is based on stacking up time, exposure and inconvenience to the would-be criminal - not about the absolute prevention of entry by any human. If you think a good lock isn't important...

There's no reason you shouldn't be as accurate. Most any recoil can be managed effectively with training and shooting problems don't cease when you use 9mm. 9mm and .40 aren't dramatically...

Seconded on the SRT. Also can be changed into .357sig with just the barrel changed if you ever go that way.

Like I said, if they trained to the caliber they should be essentially just as good. I'm not talking about a single A and B test with a new shooter or someone who has already trained to the smaller...

I had originally typed a lengthy response to this but quickly realized I only had one thing to say: .357sig

Castellan liked post by TactiCarl On thread : How many mags do you carry?
Most people seem ok with one extra mag. It also depends on what your magazine capacity is. E.g. if you have 12-16 rounds per magazine w/chamber - no extra magazine might be sufficient for you....

I think you'd want the 'compact' over the 'carry' since you plan on concealing. The carry was basically made for officers wearing owb.

If you're not used to shooting Glocks, I think it's a bit much to expect great shooting the first time out. When I started my Glock career on a baby Glock, it took me about 500 rounds to figure...

You could edit the subject with (solved) or some such (if it lets you?) but I think this way is more entertaining.
