    Maryland transplant into PA.

As a recent transplant from MD into the keystone state I never had the option to actually be able to carry. I now have my PA LTCF ( License to carry firearms) and am looking to gain more insight on different aspects of carry. From how little I do know about carrying I do know that I am going to want to get a pistol that is lighter and smaller then my FNP 40 for just ease of carry.

Easy isn't always the most comfortable, or effective. Check out the carry options before you lose the FNP for a mouse gun.

HI psycosteve! Welcome to the forum from Texas. This is a great place to learn and to share! I carry a 3rd Gen Glock 30 SF. Congrats on deciding to learn more about defensive carry and firearms and making the decision to protect yourself and your loved ones.

    I'm glad you're here.

I have decided to go XD mod 2 subcompact in 9mm is about as close to a mouse gun as I am prepared to go at this point. With any gun I am going to prefer a common caliber over something else. I was looking at the g26 and g19's but the XD won out in my eyes.
