I read a study many, many years ago that said the it was fairly common for the bad guy's weapon to get shot during a shootout. The guy who did the study theorized that it's a naturally tendency to be looking at their weapon and you tend to shoot wherever you're looking.
BLM will want to know why all cops can't just shoot the gun out of the bad guy's hands like this cop did.
Any idea what type of gun that is in the picture??
Looks like a Springer XD.
All kinds of weird stuff happening in my area. This is all over the news, here.
They're calling this "one in a billion", but I think the chances of this happening again is actually lower than that...
And they shot 12 times??? They needed some range time... Anyway its great for the good guys
Wow that may be rear and tragic, but also very cool accidentally or not
Hope he recovers fully, prayers to him. I just want to see him do it again.
Reminds me of what Long Trang did in Vietnam. Shooting an enemy sniper through his scope.
If a .45 went up the barrel of a .40 then I guess that would have been a one in a billion shot.Quote:
hat round traveled up the barrel of the attacker’s gun, colliding with a cartridge in the chamber and rendering the .40-caliber pistol inoperable, the letter said.
Either it didn't travel up the barrel or the bullet fragmented and part of it went up the barrel.
Still trying to conceptulize this.
They should give him the gun so he can have it framed.
It must be REEFER MADNESS :image035:Quote:
