    As it should be ...

A Texas father who discovered a man raping his five-year-old daughter and beat him to death with his bare hands will not be charged with homicide under state law.

Now that is an example of when ugly comes out to play.

Defending your flesh and blood should not be a remorseful thing. He did right and he has to continue feel that he did right regardless of the outcome of other dirt bag. I have two daughters and I know for a fact that I would have done the same thing or worse and not lose sleep over it.

I appreciate the quick trial, conviction, and the correct punishment in such cases.
I believe most fathers would have had the same reaction.

Salt the jury with parents, the trial would be an exercise in futility to get him convicted.

If I caught some scumbag assaulting my son, daughter, or grandkids, I'd do whatever it took to stop them. If that meant jail time for me, then so be it. My concern at the time of the incident wouldn't be about consequences.

Surprised he called 911. He is on a farm after all. Lots of land and that guy wouldn't have been missed.

Good to see a proper outcome once in awhile.

There was no trial, the grand jury no billed him. And this occurred back in 2013.

This event and the grand jury's decision not to indict took place 6 years ago in 2013. I remember this story when it first made headlines around Texas. The public response was that the father should receive a medal.

Actually, the incident occurred June 9th, 2012..,.,
For clarification, my entire statement was facetious!
