Attempted robbery while watering the lawn...

    Tulsa, OK

"The suspects had allegedly been terrorizing the Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a spate of robberies on Wednesday, when they approached the victim.

Surveillance footage, shot from a doorbell camera, showed the man, who is not named, responding by casually pulling a gun out of his pocket and aiming it at the two robbers who fled to their car.

Tulsa police arrested three suspects after the group pulled off a spate of robberies on Wednesday evening. It is understood that one of the robbers was shot by another homeowner in one of those incidents, though their identity has not been released."

This UK "Newspaper" does not cast a very favorable light on life here in the Colonies. We really are not as bad as this paper makes us.....well maybe just a tad.

Pretty brazen. It looks like the homeowner was open carrying and they still just walked right up to him.

Yeah I wondered about that same thing ..... the man is openly carrying a weapon and they still approach him? And the second guy just casually walks away ..... was he looking to get shot?

    Dude needs a better holster.

Makes one wonder if they even saw the gun on approach or were just mesmerized on getting $$$ for another fix. and yes it almost appears that hoodie puke knows the rules.....And figured well I will turn my back and mosey on out of here now I am the victim if I get shot in the back.

Unfortunately there are many gun owners who will still shop at Wal Mart even though they know Wal Mart partnered with Everytown for Gun Safety just because it is convenient and they can save a few bucks.

So that's the way those holsters work. The whole thing comes out, then you take the gun out. I've been doing it wrong for years.

That one little thug didn't seem impressed, he just sauntered over to the car.

If you use JP-8, then it's technically not waterboarding

The way our justice system seems to work, we will be reading about these three being arrested again in a month or two.

The guy should have turned the hose sprayer off before dropping it. The hose was flopping around, spraying water uncontrollably.

OC certainly didn't deter the bad guys in this particular case.

    An outside-of-the-pocket-carry holster.

The perks probably never saw the weapon when they were sizing him up for as his right side may have been toward the house and not the street.....I didn't see any weapons on the suspects.....and it appears to be a strong arm robbery hence one of the suspect only walked away when the home owner drew his weapon..... I never saw the suspects touch the home owner......if there had been a weapon I feel sure that the home owner would have fired on the suspects and their vehicle. All the evidence was a ring camera system so you cant see the fine details of the robbery.....

I open carry 90% of the time and nobody seems to notice. Once held a 5 min conversation with a couple and they never noticed. Most of the time, when folk are about to engage in a criminal act, they are only focused on performing that task and nothing else. Fortunately, I live in a pretty quiet town and most criminal acts only happen in certain parts of town and then it's not that frequent. That's not to say I won't be armed, cause things will happen when you least expect it.

I don't think I would have taken time to shut the hose off. They were right up on him.
