Well that is one way to handle the threat. Take his gun and shoot him with it.

You reckon the robber said something like, "Here...hold my beer....er...gun for a second"?

This is an interesting development, the old two-gun theory:

    From: www.foxnews.com
Two guns were found at the scene, according to KHOU. Both guns had been fired, police believe.

Authorities said the case will go before a grand jury to determine if the homeowner will face any charges.
    From KHOU:
They said two guns were found at the scene and they believe rounds were fired from both weapons. Authorities said they still believe both guns belong to the robbery suspect.
So, why did the police take the homeowner in for questioning??

Also thought it was interesting that they said the homeowner "stole" the gun from the robber?
Hopefully it was a cheap gun because we all know in certain big cities they do not prosecute theft under $750.00.

(Tongue in cheek) Hope they don't charge the homeowner with theft of a firearm.

Still, makes me sweat to see that they are convening a grand jury. If disarming a criminal and defending yourself with the weapon that they brought to the fight is suspicious...carrying your own gun is open season for prosecutors.

Surprised I missed this. Not that there are "any good parts" to this town, but that is NOT, for sure! Home owner will probably walk on charges, BECAUSE HEY, IT'S TEXAS!

Any time you are involved in a shooting, ESPECIALLY if someone dies, I assure you, you’re going in for questioning. Even if it’s “obvious” to the first responders.
