A BBQ gun came in mighty handy that day.

A Texas BBQ would not be on my list of places to rob without likely armed resistance.

This land abounds in ruffians and varmints. Their numbers are legion, their evil skills commensurate.

I'm only surprised the would-be robbers were not mowed down in a hail of machine gun fire!

Ray's used to be my favorite place to drop in, set a spell and chew the fat. I'm not sure I'd go there today without a Bearcat.

"The case is being referred to a Dallas County grand jury" are they seriously thinking about charging the guy that defended himself and other innocent people? There have to be many witnesses that said what happened.

The media can't help themselves. Even though it was completely justified, somebody used a scary gun to thwart an armed robbery and they have to put any spin on it that they can to make it seem like the good guy with a gun might actually be a bad guy because he has a gun.

Somewhere in Texas, two men are re-thinking their life-choices.

The grand jury can be for the unidentified co-robbers as much as it could be for the defender.

It's BS like that which convinced me to move out of Dallas county and start living in Collin county north of Dallas.

With absolutely no respect for the intelligence or accuracy of anything the media puts out...the grand jury almost always meets in cases of a homicide in Texas. Sometimes the case is so obvious, the DA just refuses to do anything. But the grand jury is SOP in Texas. It takes some of the pressure off the DA by making the decision not to prosecute more "politics proof."

Where the media falls on it's collective backsides is when they don't publish the no true bill results.

And please do not interpret this as me defending anything the current crop of political idjits in Dallas do nowadays.

We need to lobby to have another state added to the Union. Put it somewhere centrally located with decent natural resources, and call it Second Amendment. All liberals turned away at the state line.
