When I was 16 I wasn't thinking about politics or politicians. However I was living in the midst of the sexual revolution and despite my best efforts I never even fired a shot. 17 was a whole different story but I still wasn't thinking about politics.
Unfortunately there are many gun owners who will still shop at Wal Mart even though they know Wal Mart partnered with Everytown for Gun Safety just because it is convenient and they can save a few bucks.

I wanted to vote for Eisenhower when I was six. We didn't get to vote until after we were twenty-one. I voted for Nixon my first time at twenty-two.

If it is ever your misfortune to be attacked, alertness will have given you a little warning, decisiveness will have given you a proper course to pursue, and if that course is to counterattack, carry it out with everything you've got! Be indignant. Be angry. Be aggressive.

I remember way back when I went with a friend of mine to the PGH Zoo.
He was a steam fitter for the city.
He had to fix a steam heating issue directly under the "Big Cat" cages.
Cat urine used to leak down through the floor (I guess) in certain places.
Imagine Tropical heat in combination with 10,000 kitty litter boxes!
It's one of those smells that you never forget.

I don't know what made me think of that
