To each his (or her) own. I've got an aversion to needles so no, not for me. For everyone else, if your body art looks like you were just released from prison, you might find your employment opportunities limited.

I think that might be the case.

I really don't think that OP, Misty Lu's discreetly placed kitty tats could ever be mistaken for gang banger tattoos... Unless Misty Lu is involved with a feral feline gang.

I don't really care if people have them. But the people that have them should not complain if the reactions they receive are in line with the content of the tattoo.

That being said, I'm more more accepting of tattoos on cute young ladies than on old fat guys (you said be honest, so I'm being honest).

None here, but your choice. Some are very nice but others ...

but I do have a nice assortment of scars. None of which are surgical.

I was accused of being a trashy tramp cause I responded to a thread on tats. I'm pleased that the membership here conducts themselves with a higher level of maturity. And that the moderators actually enforce the posting guidelines.

Also, just cause I post some songs that involve 'cheatin', for example, doesn't make me a cheater, as I've also been accused of elsewhere. It just means I like different kinds of music.

We're just going easy on you. Wait until you post that 9mm is better than a .45 or the 1911 is outdated and obsolete. Then it gets nasty.

And a .45 just bounces off my noggin. I've got the dents to prove it. OD* ran out of ammo and gave up.

I like tattoos, when done by an artist that does good work. I have a half sleeve that Iíve wanted to add on to for years, but the wife has been against it.

I do hot yoga classes, so I see a lot of tats. I'm not judgemental about anyone's tats, unless they are really badly done or offensive, but I have rarely run into that. People should do what they want.

For me personally, I have never had one or wanted one and I rarely see one on anyone else I actually find cool or attractive, but that is just my taste. I prefer to be "comfortable in my own skin" the way it is naturally. But again, I'm all for people doing what they want.
