    Wasn't for dinner but lunch last week was beef tongue. It was fantastic!

    I seem to be becoming the "everything but scrambled eggs" cook in the house.

    Tonight I fixed Rigatoni Carbonara, but couldn't get a picture because I had to hurry in to see the end of the baseball game.

    Got some blue crab meat and made some crab cakes.
    Can"t wait for gulf oyster season to hit, my son brings up some from Galveston. raw or BBQ I love oysters.

    Wouldn't eat an oyster to save my life. Can't stand the taste no matter how prepared. So instead I had salad with chunks of ham thrown in.

    Looks like it's gonna be crab cakes...but store-bought, not home-made.
    And tomato-basil soup.

    At least, I'll have to scratch-make tarter sauce, with chopped capers.
