Ever had to let ugly out to play?

We've talked about getting ugly when it's necessary.

Ugly is a term that's been used here in several threads in terms of "letting ugly out", etc.

Ugly is used to defend ourselves with extreme prejudice, with resolve and no remorse, with malicious and bad intent to maim or kill another, not defending, who is threatening our person/s. It's a mentality of sorts to get "down and dirty" and is different from just defending ourselves.

Ugly is that guy who is the bad personality in everyone [ whether they know it or not ], who has to go to work in ugly situations where you live or die based on how quickly you let ugly out and how much training ugly has had.

How deep does ugly reside in you? Ever had to let ugly out to play?

Fortunately I have never been in that type of situation and hope to never be.

No. I have never "let ugly out to play".

Course I've been very angry before. But I usually end-up crying.

I've had occasions in recent years where I've let folks take a look. Fortunately, it didn't escalate to a test drive.

It would be a very very bad day if the ugly had to be released, I pray to God that never happens.

From the thread title I thought this was going to be a Glock thread!
Me: "..and that brings us back to the age old question, how much ammo should you carry or how much is enough, doesn't it? Lol "

The age old questions answer is carry more, not less. For if more isn't enough, less surely won't be. lol"

    Not ugly,
but an individual got right up in my face one night and said he was looking for "Mr Trouble", and asked me if I was "Mr Trouble".
I convinced him he had found the person he was looking for. He, and his business associates, scattered like flies.

I never considered it " letting ugly out " , It was what was needed to be done to protect others , I did my best not to take it personally while at work ... If the situation arrived in my personal life and was directed at my family I took it very personal and responded as such...
