    Question for you Florida folks...

What are you using to kill iguanas? Firearm? Air gun? Shovel?

"The (commission) encourages homeowners to kill green iguanas on their own property whenever possible," the directive says. "Iguanas can also be killed year-round and without a permit on 22 public lands in south Florida."

They haven't really reached my area . . . yet. Saw one when I first moved here 25 years ago, but I suspect it was a pet one on the loose. Pellet guns are the usual weapon of choice.

What's the problem with iguanas? That's like killing black snakes. They do a job. Are they aggressive? I'm missing something here. I had a huge cat that killed an iguana once.

You're missing a lot. Very destructive, they are.

Hmm...I don't have a pellet gun. I guess this is my excuse to go buy one.
