Maybe that’s why people wear those funny pink stocking caps. They really just want to ride with Rolling Thunder or Hells Angels, depending on their “orientation”.

In total, BMW motorcycles have won 36 Isle of Man TT races, in both the solo and sidecar divisions. BMW also has 100K, 250K, 500K and 1 million miles recognition pins, meaning those boxer motors far outlast any other known motorcycle motor ever made. NO other bike maker has such a recognition program for miles on motors/scoots. Guess why?

And Foreign cars usually last longer...Based on that theory why would would anyone drive/ride anything else.
Different people have different priorities...Some ride for comfort...Some like looks....I guess if we all raced that
    point might mean more.

A good example i think of is Trucks....I never see a 40 ft camper being pulled by a Toyota/Nissan....But i do see the big 3 pulling
    99% of heavy loads.

Any guess on why we so few BMW motorcycle on the road?

Loved both graphics! Chuckled at both.

Lots of my buds ride, sometimes for several-day, multi-state rides. They are all pretty good riders, some former racers.

Their road bikes of choice? Beemers or Triumphs. (I think that all of them had Harleys at one time or another, now I believe none still do.)

If I were to get a motorcycle? I would go for the Beemer, as they are quite well-engineered and I like a drivetrain over a chain drive.

    Second choice? Honda.

(And of course, whatever you ride and why you do so is great w moi.)
