I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.

Port St. Lucie, FL — A Florida man who waltzed into a Walmart store and asked a clerk to sell him a gun capable of killing 200 people has announced that he is an anti-gun activist, and that he wanted to make a political statement.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, when the self-proclaimed activist interrupted a Walmart clerk who was speaking with a customer in the sporting goods area, according to Treasure Coast Newspapers.

“Can you sell me a gun that can kill 200 people?” the man said, according to the police report.

The clerk told him that his comment wasn’t funny, and the man agreed.

“I know,” he said, before again asking the clerk if he “could sell him anything that would kill 200 people,” Treasure Coast Newspapers reported.

I'm not sure what the lather is all about. Any gun is capable of killing two hundred people. Show him one of these:

Last year, about this same time, I was conversing with a potential customer who said " I'd like to buy an AR rifle, or something that can fire a LOT OF BULLETS in a short time" I asked "Mag Dump" to find his intention... He said "I wanna empty a mag out as fast as I can, and I'd like a 100 round mag so I can do it"
I cleared and handed him e a rifle, which he knew NOTHING about the operation of it. He was obviously dumbfounded with the rifle and didn't even want to know about it. All he wanted to know was "How many bullets will it shoot as fast as it can" I asked for the rifle, and placed it back on the rack. I then informed him that he should seek more information via his Police Chief and TELL HIM about your desire to buy such a rifle.
Never saw him again, and I hope he found the info via his Chief..

Given that there is neither a speed or age requirement in the criteria of "gun capable of killing 200 people", a 740 FPS .177 cal pellet gun sold over the counter at Walmart is an entirely viable solution.

Who's to say that this guy, or some other anti-gun nut wouldn't purchase a gun and try to kill as many people as possible, just to prove a point?

I would say sure, we have several guns that would meet that requirement, let me go to the back to get a couple to show you. I go to the back, call the cops, tell them we have a potential mass shooter in our store, and then bring a couple guns out that I can slowly show him while waiting for the police to arrive.

This is a good illustration of how being in the wrong place at the wrong time just puts you in the hot seat. We like to say things like "not my circus, not my monkeys", but the truth is sometimes the circus joins you.

I guess by his definition, I should be considered a "White Nationalist" because I'm a normal looking white guy and I've bought guns at Walmart at some point in my life

I guess me and all of my friends are white nationalists since we're white and in our 30's. Wonder if that applies to the anti gunner's as well?
