    Border patrol boat fired upon

To me, it seems there comes a time when you say, enough is enough. Mount M-60s on these patrol boats and blanket authorization to engage hostiles.

This is ridiculous, why were they there in the first place? Were they patrolling for "Future Democrats"?

Time to give the border patrol some Riverine SOG-R boats and the authorization to engage.
    Enough of this stuff.

I wonder how many times we are going to let this happen before we finally react to it.

Thankfully no one was hurt , if one or more of the officers did get injured , killed the the news coverage would be barely a blip ,

If the officers returned fire , no matter the outcome , there would be a news feeding frenzy...

    My suggestion:

    M-60's are so old school!

Even then I’d be surprised. We’ve already allowed them to come over here, and disarm our military. If Mexican military/police killed one of our officers and we did nothing, I wouldn’t be surprised.

I'm against mounting M-60's on the CBP boats! They should have at least a .50 M-2 with a couple of SAW M249's for some over lapping fields of fire! Perhaps have an AC-130H gunship 5000 ft orbiting overhead for back-up QRF!

Just like when I was in the Army. We had to request permission to return fire.
