Hit the Potomac caught some cats, grilled some brats, enjoyed the water.

Now the boat is winterized and tucked in for the year.

    Ah the end of summer.
Still not feeling it down here.
I love the first time you wake up and feel the crispness in the air.
Well the boats put up but you can still surf cast.
I love to go down to the coast and surf cast with the son

That would be awesome to have a grill on the boat!

The Kuuma boat grill was an unexpected Christmas gift from my daughter a few years ago... she nailed it. Stainless steel, light, thin enough to quickly cool down after use, very hot burner, cooks well, hasn't developed any rust yet despite always being on the boat.

Went through two propane bottles this summer grilling on the water with friends and family. There's something special to finding a place to anchor, watching the birds and other boats, and relaxing with good food.

BTW, travel plans are firming up. I'll be in Phoenix for a weekend, 20-23 Sep, visiting an ROTC unit and a commander who I've mentored for years, and my nephew who just moved there for school. My turn to buy dinner if you guys are available.

May even bring a few bricks of ammo for my nephew to shoot out in the hills. Any shooting bans in place due to fire season?

Yikes, the public areas have been shut down to recreational shooting since June! This was the summer of the "non-soon". Check in weekly and I'll keep you posted.

    I hate you.

No fishing in a long time. Being a primary caregiver for several does often limit things.
But if it was easy, everyone would do it.
