    Yeah, I've been using that excuse for the last five years now. I retired at 62 and my wife retired early, too. Best thing we ever did.

    I retired at 63, four months from turning 64. Haven't looked back. I do still have dreams about former places I worked, as a contractor and an employee. But I can't say I miss it. I still have lunch several times a year with people from the last place I worked and that is a good thing. Last job had a lot of stress and I don't miss that at all.

    Used that excuse twice so far and they even paid me to stay home.
    Did have to give up the shotgun for a while though.
    Democracy:
