Stupid was the lift operator. Parked with the forks off the ground is a major safety violation. Hopefully, the rider was not seriously injured.

I bet she couldn't do that again in 100 tries. (Her bag ended up on one of the forks)

Man, that is painful to watch.

Yep, never leave the forks up like that. At eye level those forks have a small cross section; very stealthy! Now, the rest of the machine, well, you'd think the lady could put two and two together and infer forks. Maybe fatigue or just inattention.

I will confess however that I once turned and walked into some elevated forks breaking my nose; they sneaked up on me; honest!

"GIF" is an animated file...this is not really a video, it is a GIF...and I got it off Facebook...copy and paste.

So, I assume someone got this off a site where you find animated files similar to this.

In this case from what I can see it took two to be overly stupid. Him the way he parked the forklift, and her for apparently not paying attention to where she was going.

At the least, guessing she had one heck of a headache!!

Need to have an OSHA reg passed that all forks need a blazing orange striped tape on the sides ow lift truck forks.
OR.. keep them down when not sticking a pallet.

If the forks had been down, they would still have been equally invisible, and they would still have caused the woman to crash when her scooter hit them.
The proper place for the forklift to have been parked might've been further to our left, behind the big boxes.
