...And it's important to put exactly the right amount of the "crema" (light-colored coffee froth) on top of the coffee, in each cup.
I once had a Greek uncle-by-marriage who taught me the right way to make Turkish coffee.
And I can still do it, given the right kind of coffee, ground the right way.
I've still got the briki we bought in Sarajevo, in the 1970s.
I really like the stuff.
I am an unwashed ugly American.
Just give me a good old cup of joe steaming hot. Navy coffee like my dad used to make.
"This will put hair on your chest, kid"
I miss that old man.
Hallelujah!!! Finally, a caliber....errrr.....ICE CREAM WAR where nobody gets tacky.
I suppose ice cream is the universal peacemaker.
Iím with @ShooterGranny , I like Blue Bunny. Bryers is wonderful too. Yes the Black Walnut Blue Bell makes is wonderful and hard to find, however....any ice cream company that will not put a plastic safety lid on their product that is being licked is not going to be bought by me!
Itís not expensive, most all containers have plastic on them why canít they? No way, boycotted Blue Bell when I saw it being licked! Yuck!
Iím not a native Texan so Iím not emotionally attached to Blue Bell like locals here are, but it is some excellent ice cream. Iíve had lots of good ice cream over the years. Iíve had most of them listed here. But I come back to Blue Bell every time.
One more page and my Keto diet will be ruined.
