Been there; done that. But, I was the guy in the car. Oops.
Memphis -- No. 2 on the list of most crime ridden cities in America. Working on being No. 1 but we just can't catch Detroit.

I did that to a lady in a store parking lot. Felt bad.
Felt worse when I was checking out of the store and she was coming in the store soaked.

    Especially the second time.
MY RIGHTS DON'T END WHERE YOUR FEELINGS BEGIN

The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".

I was in my dress white uniform in the Navy. I was waiting at a bus stop for a city bus to the base for a change of command ceremony. A car swerved and did it on purpose.

Could have been. I was stationed on an Air Force base and the change of command was for an Air Force General. I was soaked in muddy water.

If I were the drivers, I would keep going also.

Back in the 60's, there was a ROTC building at the U of MN campus.

Antiwar protestors would gather outside on the sidewalk with their candles and signs on some days.

When it rained, a large puddle would form along the curb in front of them.

Some cars would stray into that puddle.
