My pre-teen crush. A 1971 GTO owned by a local girl. Bright Orange, she called it The Magic Dragon.
I drooled every time I saw it. Got the chance to ride with her once. Yep, I was hooked!

Not her car, but the same year and color with the rag top.

    Wish I still did.

911s never caught my interest. Just seemed like a souped-up Karman Gia to me.

Had a 67 goat, 65 goat, 71 Lemans sport coupe, 73 standard firebird. several trans ams. Dad worked part time for a cadillac/pontiac dealer. Grew up on goats, lemans' and trans ams.

My uncle still has an all original parts 62 Vette, Brown/creme stock color. Has won many 1st and second places with it over several decades. He drives it, but not his daily driver.

Had a 240Z with turbo. First day out, plane speed checked me at 125mph several miles before the Ma/NH toll booths. When I made the toll booth, 2 staties were standing in front of me motioning to pull over after paying the toll. Boy were they some hacked off, but no ticket, told them I'd turn around and head back into Ma. which one suggested was probably a good idea.
