    @GpTom I agree! Folks are no where near as polite as they use to be. Probably the fall of the family unit, and liberal run schools.

    Where Im from we sweeten it up to Why thank you Sugar ended with a wink or hug.

    I agree. I will generally say
    "no problem" or "no worries" when somebody has apologized to me, but when it comes to somebody having done something for me I will say "Thanks!" If somebody says "Thanks" to me, I will generally say "your welcome".

    CWO gets mad if I try to open the door, he opens it every time for me ~ its the same as my Daddy did and a pleasure that some men still know to do this.

    Women have messed this up a lot, I cant stand the women libbers - wish they would shut up! I dont see a thing wrong with barefoot and pregnant, they were lucky back then.

    Maybe one of these days you wont be so scared of me and we can have coffee with you and your better half 😉
