I'm not a fan of horror movies for many reasons, most of all I don't like paying to get scared. But the thing that gets me is either

    A. the bad guy/dilemma would just get shot by me if I'm being vicarious- movie over

    B. the threat is supernatural and my guns no matter the caliber/capacity would not stop the threat so I just check out because I don't believe in ghouls, zombies, goblins, angels or the tooth fairy

We're starting to see cleverness around my neck of the woods for Halloween:

My avatar is of Princess. We lost her after many years. Her little sweater says, "Meet me under the Misltletoe."

Similar to the red shirts on Star Trek was the new guy in the squad on “combat” you just knew he was going to be a bullet catcher by the end of the episode.

Echoes of John Ford on his classic 1939 movie, "Stagecoach".

That chase... "Why did it go on so long? Why didn't the Indians just shoot the horses?" I tell them, "If the Indians had done that, they would have stopped the picture."

If memory serves me correctly Michael Meyers was shot several times by cops and his psychiatrist. He just would not stay down. They need a LAW rocket to stop him.

True. But remember, guns came into the scene at the end of the film. They couldn't have been in the beginning, because there goes the whole movie.

This topic always reminds me of this. I wish it were in better quality.
