Humor aside, this is a good example of why
I deem "just" a pocket gun insufficient.

Make no mistake, the person in the ER with a headache who got there first will be complaining about not being seen first.
Police are not identifying the man who somehow made it to Temple University Hospital and admitted himself.
And this right here is an example of why I think its important for hospital personnel to be able to carry. I know they didnt name him, and even if they did, hes likely not checked in under his real name, but someone clearly wanted him dead, and now they know where he is.

If your strategy is a one shot stop, which with a handgun is an iffy proposition. I think the better strategy is a CNS hit with any caliber that meets basic standards. So the more important question is: What can you shoot most accurately, and if the target doesn't go down immediately, what can you get the most accurate follow up shots with?

Control includes accuracy and follow up shots.

Of course. My point is there is always a trade off and on the trade off, I would go for more accurate before I would go for bigger.

While Sig and Springfield have been working on tiny double stacks, this is what smith and wesson is working on. Cross thread points?

Seems like 16 hits out of 23 shots fired is not a terrible accuracy rate, especially if this included at least 1 reload. Sometimes the chips just don't fall your way...
