    How was your weekend?

How was everyone's weekend? We took some nieces and a nephew to the pumpkin patch on Saturday and spent the weekend getting the house ready for guests on Halloween. Saw Zombieland Double Tap Saturday night.

    What did you do?

Not a good weekend at all. Was lifting a full sheet of 3/4 plywood up to a overhead deck and lost my grip - it landed full force right behind the safety toe of my boot. Broke the bone on the top of my left front foot. Foot is black, swollen and throbbing. Pain pills are a blessing.

Helped a buddy hunt for a cow elk and/or buck. Did a lot of hiking and learned some new hunting territory. He passed on a 2X2 buck with a nice buddy, which I would have shot, but everyone has to make their own decision.

Got soaked in a leaky tent Friday night. Now I know why they say this tent has a "BATHTUB FLOOR." LOL
Got some shooting in Saturday morning before I caught one hell of a cold.
All in all a pretty good weekend.

Man y'alls outdoor adventures sound like good times. Wish I knew more people into hunting, hiking, camping, etc. to get into it with.

Those parades, and other events they hold, are a real hoot. We always enjoyed them.

I didn't do anything out of the ordinary this weekend, except install a USB 3.01 board in my PC and connect a 500GB super-fast Samsung SSD. I actually saw 400mbs read and write speeds.

I realize that means nothing whatsoever to most people!

Did nothing on Saturday. Wasn't finished, so did nothing on Sunday.

Got the last of the leaves bagged & went for my last motorcycle ride of October in on Saturday-beautiful 70 degree day. Woke up Sunday morning to a 50 degree drop in temps, snow & cold that's going to continue for several days. Pork roast in the slow cooker, watched the Broncos flounder about in Indy & got a new battery in the wife's truck-much more restful than my last weekend-had to get back to work & rest up.

Took advantage of the good weather Saturday and got a few outside chores done in the morning. Had the Wife home Saturday evening. Watched movies and grilled chicken for supper. Might be the last of the outside grilling. Sunday was church, Daughter and I walked the local gun show just to see some old Friends, and then up to spend time with the Wife.
Pretty uneventful weekend, but I'm less enthused about going and doing stuff than I used to be. More often than not, I choose to spend time with Family over going somewhere.

The cold front that should have finished making the ragweed pollen go away, DIDN'T! So, the post holes I should have dug didn't happen! Feeling a little better when I made a short venture outside, so perhaps this afternoon.
