    The good thing about getting old is I do not give a crap about a lot of things I "thought" were important.
    For instance if your favorite sports team wins or loses. 10 minutes later i am over it.
    Same for lots of other things.

    Every day I love getting older. Every day Iím glad we donít have children to leave behind in this world, use to hate it but now Iím glad. I love being retired, I love turning off TV and not giving a toot about what he and she said.

    Getting old ainít for sissies cause stuff hurts (body parts) but it sure is good for the mind ~ Iím much more at peace than I was when younger.

    I remember S&H Green stamps, the A&P plaid stamps, and gold stamps but have no idea who gave out the gold ones. My mom had some gold stamp books, but green stamps were the main ones she collected. I can remember going to the S&H store to "cash" the books in on something she didn't need but was free with the stamp books.
