If I get to 92, I sure as heck don't want to be spending my days working at McD's.

Maybe working at a gun shop or a Victoria's Secret store at 92 but not a McD.

He started working there at 71 so I assume he is working part time once he retired from his full time job.

I would say that, But my own Dad took a newspaper route in his late 80's!
When I ask him why? He said He liked getting up at 4:00 am, He liked the purpose it gave him, and most of all he got to see and talk to new people every day! DR

Def a generational thing. Older folks celebrate how long they can work. kids now days celebrate how long they can get by without working and/or getting others to do the work for them ❄️

Or how early they can retire.

When I lived in WA, McDs still employed older folks who cleaned up after the pigs and kept tables cleared. Now, no one does it, and I refuse to eat in their filth. People can slam Chick Fillet is they wish, but courteousness and cleanliness are still priorities with that business. I'm not gaga over its food but admire the business model it chose.
