    Tom Brady

Had to get this off my chest....Was watching a sports show last night and they were talking about the Patriots
offensive struggles and how Tom Brady has no receivers and they can't get separation.

I have heard this talking point all season and it is nonsense.

His whole career they have bragged how Brady is so good he can make any receiver a star and average guys should thank him
when they leave the Pats for a big payday.

Maybe it is time to admit he is 42 yrs old and doesn't have it anymore....Instead of making excuses for the guy.

Okay...My sports rant of the day is over now.

I watched the game on Sunday.

Tom still looks pretty competitive to me. He made a few bad throws, true; but he made some great throws as well. And he plays smart.

    But....he's not 22 or 32 now.....

I bet half the teams in the league would take him in a heartbeat. The Pats have still won 10 games this season. They can't dominate forever. I'm not a fan of the NFL but would pull for the Pats this year just to see it happen again.

Speaking of QBs, Lamar Jackson is nuts. I think though given the style of play he will eventually get hurt.

Brady is/was a great QB...But he gets all credit when things are good and gets excuses made for him when things are not good.
No other QB gets that...Manning didn't....Brees won't...Big Ben won't etc etc

Lamar will get hurt...Just a matter of time....He is already dinged up....I bet he has a great but short career.

Great players don't always transition well into coaching

He's 10-3. Not too bad for a washed up old man.

Im no Pat fan, but even on his worst days at 42, he still runs circles around someone like Kaepernick. Spit.

This hasn't been Brady's typical season, but it sure hasn't been a flop. Sure, he's 42. And he's still performing at a high level in what could be the most complex position in any sport.

No one needs to offer any excuses or apologies for him.

I just hope we'll have a super bowl with an AFC team other than the Pats this year.
