What Are You Doing This New Years Eve?

I'm opening a bottle of 1980 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon, and will enjoy a Perez Carrillo cigar (2018 cigar of the year). I will also give thanks that I'm still above ground.

Sitting here on the couch with Mrs. Cowboy.
She is watching the Hallmark Channel
I am drinking a very nice Jeffersonís Reserve Ocean bourbon she bought me for Christmas and posting with yíall till I get too buzzed to continue. So if my spelling starts to get bad, let me know so I can stop drinking and hit the rack

Sitting on the couch with SWMBO. Just finished a steak dinner, gave some to the cat so she's happy. Eating Carmel Corn and drinking water. Might have a Vernor's ginger ale latter. Changing out magazines and SD ammunition tomorrow.

ETA: just talked SWMBO into buying 5 boxes (2 years worth) of 124 grain Gold Dots.

Staying home, just like every year. The last time I left the house for NYE was back in the late nineties when I was still working in a band and had a gig booked for the night. I'll probably spend most of the evening working on music in my home studio.

Go on to bed and spare us the agony. I'm watching the walls creep in on me from boredom.

I have had it, it is good. My preference is a good single malt scotch over bourbon. I know I will get some crap over that from OldVet
Got a Genlivet Founders Reserve American Oak Selection and a Tomintoul 16 year old Speyside Glenlivet from my two sons which I just cracked open. Very nice!

I have to agree with you, Glenfiddich Bourbon Barrel Reserve does taste more like bourbon than it does scotch (to me anyway) I won't buy it again if I'm craving scotch. I'll stick with Glenlivet 12 year old for that
