    Adult Beverages

It is Friday, and I am looking forward to an adult beverage after work this evening. Wondering, for those of you that enjoy a sip of the good stuff, what you like?

I will be sipping on some Bulleit Bourbon, or maybe Rye. Have not decided yet. I very much like Bourbon and whiskey's. We recently took a trip to the Jack Daniels distillery and what a cool experience that was.

    Cheers

Single Malt Scotch - neat. Usually, Aberlour, MacAllen, or Longmorn.

I am mainly a beer drinker but do enjoy Scotch on occasion, my palate is not refined enough to differentiate between single malt and blended so I just stick with blended.

Jack Daniels is my drink of choice, if I'm drinking beer, Labatt Blue Light is at the top of my list .

I have been a long time beer and Jack Daniels guy and I did the tasting tour at the JD Distillery, too. I was never a single Malt fan. At a recent party a friend brought some Basil-Hayden Bourbon and it very nice and a big hit, even with people that were not Bourbon drinkers. Very smooth. It's worth a try.---Sturgis

I'm having a tall coffee with rye as I type. Now that my pain meds are down to PT visits only, I can enjoy a few inebriations again.

My preferred whiskey is Jim Beam Black, the smoothest of bourbons I've had (so R&G found out!). But I drink others and am not against having a rye or Irish whisky when the occasion arises. Being retired totally, it's always five o'clock for me.

Never found a scotch I cared for. Gin is a no-no unless a very minor ingredient in a mixed drink. Rum is a good go-to when bourbon isn't available. And then there is tequila. Only pure, 100% blue agava for me. Pass on old Jose. Not a lot better than a really good margarita.

I went to a whiskey class last night! Iíve been drinking makers mark 46 at home lately. Other than whiskey I drink beer and red wine.

I'm a wine drinker these days...red / white - as long as it comes from grapes I'll give it a whirl.

I know just enough about wine to be dangerous

If you enjoy a glass or 2 - check out these movies =

    Sideways

    Bottleshock

Both are best enjoyed with a friend and a bottle.

    Cheers!

I prefer heavily peated Islay scotch. Ardbeg Corryvreckan is my all time favorite. I also like the Lagavulin 16 Year.

Well, if it's peat you're after - you've hit a home run with those!

^^^^^^ All of the above. Seriously. Except beer. I can do beer on a hot summer day though, come to think of it. So...even beer.

Basil Hayden is my go to. I like a good single malt also. Bushmill single malt is one of my favorites (not Bushmill Black or regular Bushmill).
