Even if it's intended to be satire there's a chance that some nut job is going to take it seriously. i wonder if someone is going to have the guts to show up to a theater with a pro-Trump hat for this event......

FWIW, there is a spoiler site that has gotten a look at the screenplay. The "deplorables" wind up winning and have the moral high ground in the end, just barely.

I'm not surprised that they decided to release it. I may even watch it someday. But I won't pay to watch it in the theater. I kind of welcome it's release. Someday it will allow me to tell some gun grabbing liberal, "A bunch of Hollywood liberals made a movie about hunting and killing conservative "deplorables" for sport and you want me to give up my guns? That is exactly why I plan on keeping them."

Not to get too far off topic, but I still like going to the theater. Too many distractions at home.
    I love theater buttered popcorn.
I do choose very carefully what I watch. But I think it is still the best way to watch a movie.

The best way to watch a movie is from a lawn chair in the back of a pick up truck

I appreciate the big sound and the huge screen. You just can't replicate that at home, even with the best flat screen and surround sound system. No popcorn at the theater though. Too many calories for me.

Last time I went to a theater was during W.'s first term. Don't miss it.
