We don't watch network television anymore. We did watch "24" when it was on. We've watched some series on DVD or via streaming services. We also enjoyed Dexter (very dark) and the Walking Dead.. All of the more recent series like The Good Wife, Designated Survivor, and Grey's Anatomy all ultimately became liberal political vehicles and we stopped watching them.

We don’t have our TV hooked up to anything but a DVD player. Haven’t watched anything in a few years, so I couldn’t tell you what’s on the programs anymore.

    Yes loved Vikings.
After 17 seasons my go to show is still NCIS the original. Love Gibbs character.
There is a channel on can't remember the name which shows a lot of old shows from the '80s- '90s like The Pretender, Profiler, The Closer. it is entertaining.

Our go to shows tend to change, because most shows aren't continuing past 2-3 seasons anymore. Really liked Code Black. That ended at season 3. Final season of the Ranch is out now, so 8 seasons of that on Netflix. The kids say that the dad in that was modelled after me. Favorite photo is NCIS and NCIS New Orleans. Also currently watching the Good Doctor, the Resident, 911, 911 Lone Star, and the Deputy. Eventually I'm going to have to find where to stream Justified from, liked that show, then the Roku took a crap.

Like many others, we have stopped watching any and all network TV. The closest we come is PlutoTV and we subscribe to YouTubeTV - mainly because it carries the Smithsonian Channel and several others we enjoy.

The only thing I have seen in the last few years on any any network that is worth watching are the various cartoon programs. I keep up with them because the great grand kids like to watch when they come over.

And just a note of caution. Some "cartoons" are more lessons in liberalism than they are simple entertainment. If the kids don't laugh, I watch the content very carefully.

My wife and I are into binge watching police procedurals and we have found some excellent foreign ones. We have tried a lot of them and given up on some of them. The following ones were excellent from beginning to end.
    • Bordertown (Finnish police procedural)
    • The Crime (Polish police procedural)
    • Black Spot (French sci-fi police procedural)
    • Lucifer (Sci-Fi police procedural)
    • Hinterland (Welsh police procedural)
    • Shetland (British police procedural)
    • The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (The 1984 Series starring Jeremy Brett — a brilliant screen adaptation of the Holmes saga that comes closest to the Conan Doyle cannon of anything out there)
    • Agatha Christie's Poirot (The 1989 series starring David Suchet)
    • The Brokenwood Mysteries (New Zealand police procedural, with comedic aspects)
    • Delhi Crime (India-based police procedural based on a real, very famous crime)

Another great series that is not a police show is After Life, starring Ricky Gervais.
