I've got it set to record.

"The food that made America" was on right before it and I found that interesting. I really liked "the cars that made America" series as well.

I watched last night's offering. Very nicely done, I thought, and worth the watch.

The first 5 minutes really stretched the the bounds of reality for me. Washington and his (Merry band of) men come all the way from the Eastern Coast of Virginia (Williamsburg), with ONE horse and not ONE speck of any type of luggage, not even a "knapsack". And no, I don't believe for a second they hunted for all their food alway out there. Kind of makes you wonder where Washington had his tent and that nice table hidden.

Also the battle at Ft. Necessity in the rain... Have any of you ever fired a flintlock in a pouring rain? If you are lucky the first shot goes, and it's rapidly down hill from there, not an "all day shoot out".

However so far most of the important historical facts seem to be spot on! Some of the narration team was a bit surprising also, never thought of Bill Clinton as a history teacher.

History records that the shooting started at around 11:00 am, and by that afternoon, heavy rainfall had made continued fire by Washington and his men impossible.

George Washington dies and is buried at Mt Vernon. That's how it ends.

Rats. It started at 5 pm so I missed the first 15 minutes. Fortunately, I have the History Channel App, so it will show up there eventually.
