I actually have my day pretty scheduled: Work on Systems Dynamics Model programming skills, Work on Aurdino Programming, Work on License endorsement.

At the point, I switch any task I go though my Current "real-work" activities that can be done at that point. Oh, and on weekends, play computer games.

Between coin collecting, old cars and guns I can always find something to do.

I'm usually spending my free time playing the guitar/bass/keyboard, or going to the range. No real break in my routine.

They do not have any real hobbies to bide their time.

I have my guns, my bow, and exercising to keep me busy outside. I also love electronics and programming. I am working on a long term project now that involves a lot of hands-on with the electronics themselves as well as the programming and research. I do not need instant gratification (if I did I would buy a kit and assemble it). I prefer the learning part and hands on.

Too many people, young and old actually do not have any hobbies or interests. If the power went out they would just end up staring at four walls.

    Thoughts?
I was wondering if I'd be bored after retiring. Obviously not. I have more than enough to do.

I am still going on as normal. Going to work weekdays as always since I still have loggers working in the woods. Went for a drive today so my wife could photograph some Moose (we found 5 throughout the morning). Only thing that changed for me was being conscious of how much TP we might use. Still wore the 5 shot 38 OWB when we were out and about too.
Farmers and ranchers are all out doing their normal spring work of calving cows, burning fields and getting their equipment in shape for the season. I feel bad for those damned cities but, I chose to live as far away from them as I could for a reason, actually several reasons.
