What I hear in this thread from some is "We don't need no stinkin' vaccine"
The underlying reason for this position is an unconscious fear of a lack or macho or manliness.
The same applies to wearing a mask. (This is not a political statement.)

Just as homophobia really means a fear of being gay......anti vacc and mask are fears of not being manly enough.
If you worry about your macho (unconsciously),you may have a problem.
I get all shots that are available and if some don't work like the annual flu shot (sometimes),then I have not lost anything.

The funny thing is that in the past, the big anti vaccers were Liberal millenials who feared the shots could cause autism.

So if my wife does not wear a mask it is because she wants to be more manly?

To be honest, I did not know there was any controversy surrounding a potential covid-19 vaccine.

Heck, if the researchers can actually get a vaccine developed and approved in less than a year, that is a monumental achievement.

I would never make ANY comment about a nice New England lady.

Wearing mask would not make me feel less manly at all. It would only make me less healthy in the long run and actually do very little when it comes to spreading the virus.

Our gyms open up this week. I wonder if they will require you to wear a mask while working out.
I can see people passing out doing cardio.

That will open up another treadmill. Gotta stay positive during these harsh times.
