    YMMV
Excellent! I sometimes wear my 1859 Navy Arms .44 caliber cap and ball black powder revolver in a handmade leather holster.

Don't have the cowboy outfit, though. Just jeans and hiking boots.

    Vulcan 20mm Cannon

    Firepower
The 20mm M168 Vulcan autocannon is the only armament of the M163. It has a selective rate of fire of 1.000 or 3.000 rpm and usually 1.900 rounds of 20x102mm ammunition are carried. The maximum anti-aircraft range is 1.2 km, the ground support range is 3 km and the slant range is 4.5 km. With the PIVADS upgrade and APDS ammunition the anti-aircraft range is increased to 2.6 km. Charlie was more scared of these than any regular tank with good reason. I want it clear, I was never in country but I had friends that were and the Army used these for convoy support. You did not want to be in front of the muzzle of these things.

Twin 40mms are Bad Boys. Two Thumbs way up!

My biggest open carry was a battery of these on Naha Air Base loaded with W31 nuclear warheads: https://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/systems/w31.htm

Don't let anyone lie to you and say it can't be done as they taught us how to use those in a ground attack scenario. It could be done.

I was in the first company of Air Defense to turn over their gear to the Japanese after reversion of Okinawa to Japan. Now that was a TRIP all in itself. The Japanese REFUSED to accept our nukes so they had to be made safe and shipped back to the USA. They only wanted the conventional warhead armed missiles.

I qualified as Officer of the Deck, Underway off of Viet Nam during combat operations. If you look closely at the picture, I am on the bridge.

Any of you old old timers ever see the destroyer that was hit amidships by the magnetic mine that broke loose off Haiphong Harbor after we mined it. It was anchored right offshore from my quarters on Okinawa before it was taken back to the US and some Marines took a speedboat out and went under the middle of the ship (I saw them do it); it was humped up so badly in the middle. Man that had to be bad to be aboard when that happened! Needless to say the Marines had a reception party waiting when they came back ashore that were not very happy.

Sorry about the thread hijack. Back to the subject at hand.

If we're going tracked vehicles, I've always had a fondness for this.

The only common sense gun legislation was written about 229 years ago.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.
